We are seeking a dynamic and self-driven Sales Professional with 5–10 years of experience in Product Engineering services sales. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving new business growth across India, including account prospecting, lead qualification, proposal coordination, and deal closure.
You will collaborate closely with Sequoia’s leadership and technical teams to develop tailored go-to-market strategies, craft customized solution pitches, and build long-term, trusted customer relationships that drive sustained revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and close new revenue by managing complex, multi-month B2B sales cycles from qualified opportunity to signed contract.
- Carry a defined annual sales quota and be accountable for forecast accuracy and deal closure.
- Lead pricing discussions, commercial negotiations, and contract finalization with CXO, procurement, and decision-makers.
- Convert qualified inbound and outbound opportunities into closed deals; this is not a lead-generation-only role.
- Work closely with Sequoia’s technical and delivery leadership to shape solution proposals, SOWs, and RFP responses.
- Drive large and mid-ticket deals involving engineering services, digital platforms, IoT, AI/ML, and cloud solutions.
- Build and expand strategic customer relationships to generate repeat business and account expansion.
- Maintain a disciplined sales pipeline in CRM and provide weekly forecast and deal-risk visibility to leadership.
- Represent Sequoia in customer meetings, negotiations, and final decision-making discussions.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5–10 years of quota-carrying B2B sales experience in IT services, engineering services, or enterprise SaaS/solutions.
- Demonstrated track record of personally closing deals and consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Experience handling large deal sizes
- Proven experience in pricing, margin discussions, and contract negotiation.
- Strong understanding of consultative selling and solution-based sales.
- Experience selling to US / India customers is a strong plus.
- Comfortable working independently with direct ownership of revenue outcomes.
- Exposure to Life Science, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Enterprises verticals
- Proficiency in CRM-driven sales management and forecasting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering must
- Business (MBA preferred)
