Job Overview: Seeking a motivated and experienced Technical Product Manager to join our dynamic team. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our products meet customer needs and contribute to the company’s growth and impact in the genomics industry.
Collaborate with the Customer success team to develop documentation, tutorial and training programs.
Create compelling product narratives and presentations to support the sales team in effectively conveying the platform's value proposition to customers.
Gather market insights and customer feedback to refine product positioning.
Translating user needs to product requirements (SRS).
Leading use case development.
Triage of product requirements and assigning priority.
Managing full DHF suite.
Collecting post release feedback and conveying to product improvement.
Work closely with product development, engineering, and design teams to guide product development efforts.
Collaborate with customer support and implementation teams to ensure seamless customer experience.
Serve as a subject matter expert, providing technical guidance and support to internal and external stakeholders.
Ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.
Gather feedback from customers to inform product improvements and feature development.
Function as a customer advocate within the organization, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed.
Prioritize feature development and enhancements based on market demand and business impact.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., genetics, genomics, bioinformatics, or related discipline). A master's degree or higher is preferred.
Minimum of 3-4 years of proven experience in technical product management, preferably within genomics, life sciences, or related industries. A strong background in managing full product lifecycles and delivering product requirements is essential.
Deep understanding of the genomics space, including familiarity with genomic data interpretation platforms, software, and technologies.
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems, assess risk, prioritize issues, and create solutions.
Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and customer success.
Ability to engage directly with customers, gather insights, and advocate for customer needs within the product development process.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering results that impact business success.
Familiarity with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
